Actionable & Easier To Follow Format

  • Beaten up stocks are still pretty beaten up, so, if you haven’t started building positions, it’s a good time to start.
  • A lot of stocks are still not beaten up as much as we’d like and we’re still in a bear market, so, best to wait on those.
  • Looking at our screener, we see a batch of stocks that are both undervalued and oversold, good spots for cash-secured puts.
  • Looking at our screener, it’s mostly healthcare and energy that are approaching overbought, so, there might be some covered call opportunities.
  • Patience is a virtue, but being a deer in the headlights usually causes and accident.

Retirement Income Options offers my top option selling ideas. The stocks and ETFs are from the quarterly “Plug & Play” lists and Global Trends ETF.

Make sure to read “Using Retirement Income Options” and “Technical Trading Basics” in the Getting Started area so you can follow my methodology and reasoning.

The following trades are generally for six and seven figure accounts. Remember to check out the noon Monday Retirement Income Options webinars live or on YouTube.

Technical Screener

Here are the oversold and approaching oversold stocks on our VSL and several others I am just watching.

What we can see is that some of the stocks that the market is washing away are still wallowing in their valley’s of despair. This is generally when to build positions for the long-term if we have a valid investment thesis.

My favorites right now are:

  • Intel (INTC) as a big player, maybe biggest with new fabs coming, in the biggest industrial market of the next decade. Pays a great dividend to go with the growth. Did you know they were a top 10 patent filer? Now you do.
  • Ginko Bioworks (DNA) for the next wave of the biotech revolution that will now include proteins along with the genetics.
  • Warner Bros Discovery (WBD) which is rapidly cutting debt and has both series and movies that are going to generate massive profits going forward. I have another WBD article coming out that explains the upside.
  • Paramount (PARA) is primed for the upcoming Presidential cycle with its CBS News, more movies coming and has a content library worth far more than the stock is trading for which means likely M&A at some point. Dividend to boot while we wait.
  • Block (SQ) has started to move on what I think is bullishness developing on Bitcoin. It’s still at risk if we get a recession that hurts small business.
  • Generac (GNRC) is going to be a leader with Enphase (ENPH) and SolarEdge (SEDG) in energy management. They’re tough to sell puts on due to price, but it’s of high interest.

Closing Investment Thoughts

Risks are high now, but so are premiums. That gives you some flexibility to be aggressive with your strikes and premiums.

Take a look at where the big bunches of options are open. That’s where big players are making bets. Use that information. Look for the ranges where the big money is bullish.

Remember, always mind your asset allocation.
